Lydia Chodosh is a Brooklyn-based designer, writer and educator. She works across art, music, media and culture to design publications and websites, exhibitions and objects. Primary to her personal practice is an interest in language, narrative constructions, and epistemologies. Mostly, she’s preoccupied by the color blue.
Lydia holds an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, teaches at Parsons School of Design, and currently works at The Whitney in New York. You can read her thesis writing at notations.xyz. Other published works can be found at Choo Choo Press and Fugue Journal.

Publication, 2021
Volume 1Volume 1 is a publishing platform for the ongoing work, ideas, discussions, debates, and aspirations of students at the Rhode Island School of Design. Its form and content are endlessly flexible. In 2021, the editorial and design staff rebranded the publication’s content online and in print, beginning with the redesign of the website, and the subsequent roll out of capsule-style publications.
