Lydia Chodosh is a designer, educator + writer based in Brooklyn, New York. She holds an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and teaches at Parsons School of Design. Prior to RISD, she worked as the Associate Art Director at Harper’s Magazine, primarily art directing illustration. She is interested in the role of indexing and cataloging in the production of bodies of knowledge, an important feature of her graduate thesis book On the Impulse to Notate, which can be read online at notations.xyz.
